Join us for a meaningful morning of environmental action as part of EcoFest 2026 (running from 22 March to 22 April)! We are coming together to care for our local waterway, the Mānutewhau Awa, and we need your help to make a real impact.

This event is all about community connection and kaitiakitanga (guardianship). By spending a few hours clearing litter and debris, you’ll be helping to protect our local ecosystem and ensure our awa remains a healthy, beautiful space for everyone to enjoy.

When: Saturday, 11 April.

Time: 10:00am – 12:30pm.

Where: Meet at Manutewhau Community Hub.

Volunteers Needed: We are looking for energetic volunteers of all ages to lend a hand! Whether you can spare an hour or the whole morning, every bit of help counts.

What to bring: Wear sturdy footwear (gumboots are great!) and comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty.
