Supported by Eco Matters, Leataata Preschool & Massey Matters, the Awa Clean Up is a fun activity for people to get involved and show some love to the environment around them. This is a fun and family friendly event open to all ages. There will also be a free sausage sizzle for all participants. Make sure to bring suitable footwear for outdoor wear.
DUE TO THE IMPENDING BAD WEATHER THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL SATURDAY 9TH MARCH.
Join us in the beautiful Triangle Park for another Massey Movie Night.
Bring something to eat, something to sit on and, of course, the whole family down to watch a movie on the big screen.
Hope to see you there.
There are many different cultures in our community. We would like to bring them all together for a celebration of food and performances!
Do you know of a group that might want to perform at this event? Then pass their details on to us so we can contact them.
Bring a small plate of food to share that reflects your culture.
This is our bimonthly network meeting that brings together different community groups to talk about a topic. For this meeting, the subject will be around 'Winter Readiness'. After the storm a few weeks ago, we thought it would be a good idea to find out some more information on what to do if it happens again (power goes out for several days, houses or property are damaged due to the storm, emergency food kits etc). This meeting is open to anybody who wishes to attend it.
Our Children's Sensory Garden has been dug, has some seating, (thanks Massey Men's Shed), now all it needs is some plants! Come along and help us by planting a plant on Saturday 9th December between 10 and 12. We'll be throwing some sausages on the barbeque to say thanks when we finish. Come and help make your Community Hub even better.
